For our international Client, located in Warsaw, we are looking for Head of Shared Service Center.As the Head of Shared Service Center (350 FTE), you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and operational efficiency of our organization. Your leadership will drive collaboration, process excellence, and innovation across our shared services functions.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the shared services organization, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Assess, mentor, and develop team members to foster growth and enhance performance.
  • Drive a cohesive team spirit and promote best practices within the organization.
  • Support annual people processes, including performance evaluations and talent development.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to define future priorities for the Service Centre.
  • Explore global expansion opportunities.
  • Enhance end-to-end processes for greater efficiency.
  • Optimize procurement tasks handled by the Service Centre.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and automation of the SSC processes.
  • Implement strategies to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Leverage technology to enhance service delivery.
  • Establish robust reporting mechanisms to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Standardize processes and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Promote a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing.

Employer requirements

  • Experience: at least 5 years as CEO or Vice CEO of Shared Service Center.
  • Proven experience in leadership roles within shared services or related functions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive organizational change.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
