Our Client is the international company working in services designed to protect the environment. It is a conscious organization that puts the development of its workers and quality of delivered solutions first. They are currently looking for a Finance Director who will take part in changes in the organization and its growth.
Your responsibilities
- Proposing new solutions for the company for example changes in controlling, financial systems or division of labor.
- Being a key part of company’s financial strategy.
- Lead and develop financial team (few people at this moment to grow in the future).
- Prepare controlling data for return of the investments, human capital engagement.
- Being responsible for the cashflow and budget forecasts.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement etc.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks through effective strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and report it regularly.
- Manage treasury functions to ensure adequate cash flow to support business operations.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting and taxation.
- Prepare financial statements for internal and external purposes.
- Manage relationship with audit companies.
- Participate in due diligence processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, statutory requirements, and standards.
Employer requirements
- University degree (master’s degree or Ph. D in finance or accounting).
- Recognized and proved qualifications as CFO or Senior Financial position.
- Strong background in controlling but also with proven knowledge of accountancy.
- A very strong personality that can in professional manner encourage change.
- Mindset of a true and complex leader that can develop talents withing the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Analytical mind with a can- do attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is a must and used on daily basis.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial growth and profitability.
- IS implementation experience.
- Energetic personality with creative approach and “hand on” attitude is a must.
- Able to motivate and enhance the performance of its team.
Optional
- Knowledge of German or other language of Poland’s neighbors.
- Experience in production companies.
- Experience in implementation of ERP.
- Experience in international reporting.
