Piotr Wielgomas, President of BIGRAM, ran a recruitment&career workshop for students of XXIV C.K. Norwid High School in Warsaw. The meeting was one of many initiatives organized by Presidents Volunteers Coalition to which our President is associated.
Piotr Wielgomas, since 2012 belongs to the Presidents Volunteer Coalition, which brings together, among others, CEO of KGHM – Herbert Wirth, President of Danone – Harry Klompe, President of Capgemini – Mark Grodziński, President of Citi Handlowy – Slawomir S. Sikora, President of Coca-Cola – Nikos Kalaitzidakisa, CEO of Aviva – Elizabeth Wojcik, President of AMS – Mark Kuzaka and 26 CEOs of Polish and international companies.
The aim of Presidents associated in Coalition is to promote volunteering and especially the volunteering of competences. Our company is already involved in a number of educational activities at universities. In Poland we coordinate international programme Enactus and we organize GMC competition (www.gmcpoland.pl) based on business simulation. Thanks to these actions we positively impact students’ knowledge and skills and thus their chances on the job market.
At the same time, we encourage our business partners, companies which cooperate with us, to be present and active on universities and to support local initiatives of Enactus (www.enactus.pl). However, we do not stop on the involvement in this initiatives. In particular, our President is known for his wide volunteering and philanthropic activity. Hence the commitment to the Presidents of the volunteer.
During one of Coalition projects President of BIGRAM had an opportunity to meet high-school students. At the workshop which took place in XXIV C.K. Norwid High School in Warsaw he spoke about recruitment and key candidate skills important for employers.
